I post about small businesses I have personally tried and experienced for myself. As I currently live in the Washington, DC area, most posts will be around this area. I hope to make this section more user friendly with time.

  • Tsiona Foods sells packaged stew mixes, spices, injera chips, dips, coffee, and legumes.

Where sold: Based in Rockville, Maryland USA, and sold online or in local DMV grocery shops.

Ownership: Black-owned; Woman-owned.

  • Olive & Loom sells home, kitchen, bath, body, baby, accessory, and print products.

Where sold: Based in North Bethesda, Maryland USA, and sold online or in shop.

Ownership: Immigrant-owned; Woman-owned.

Where sold: Based in North Bethesda, Maryland USA, and sold in store for take out or dine in.

Ownership: Asian-owned; Woman-owned.

  • Java Nation sells breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, baked goods, and alcoholic drinks.

Where sold: With two locations in North Bethesda and Kensington, Maryland USA, you can dine in, take out, or get delivery.

Ownership: Black-owned; Woman-owned.

  • Stella's Bakery is a bakery selling cakes, tarts, pastries, cookies, chocolate, and bread.

Where sold: Based in Rockville, Maryland you may pick up or take out.

Ownership: Immigrant-owned; Woman-owned.
